GOAL AND METHODOLOGY OF THE COURSE:
This
course is your best opportunity to prepare for university. It will provide you
with an opportunity to practice speaking English as well, so USE ONLY ENGLISH TO
SPEAK IN CLASS. Make mistakes… it is the only way to learn.
We
will use different methods to simulate a university study environment. You will
learn and practice: planning and writing skills for academic essays, presentation skills,
and studying skills for exams, discussion leading, summarizing and referencing.
You will be asked throughout the course, to work individually, in pairs and
sometimes in groups. You will be introduced to a wide range of topics popular
in European universities.
