英国文学选读

This course is to help students approach British literary works with a more conscious cultural, historical, and theoretical perspective. We will introduce the generic features of poetry, drama, and novels. This course encourages close reading of literary texts with the help of basic literary concepts. It will stimulate a critical reflection on contemporary topics in literature studies, in literature movements, and in literary criticism.
