企业资源计划（ERP）

This course examines the evolution of enterprise systems - from internally focused client/server systems to externally focused e-business. This class studies

the types of issues that managers will need to consider in implementing cross-functional integrated ERP systems. We will examine the general theory of ERP, re-engineering principles and the technical foundations of ERP system. We will also give the students some introduction of ERP companies and consulting as well as ERP industry. Topics include the tools and methodology, modules, processes, and industry initiatives. Finally, the course will attempt to look into the future and predict ERP systems trends.
